Hello! I’m Mel and I’m a wife and mum to 3 kids and 1 cat. We live in the beautful South West of the UK, by the sea.
I work with my husband in the TV industry, but on the side, I am a devoted and enthusiastic Vintie – I sell (and buy!) the clothes and home items that we no longer need on Vinted. If you didn’t know, Vinted is a rapidly growing site for people to buy and sell stuff – think eBay, but it’s easier!
I love it because I’m really into sustainability and secondhand fashion, and the extra money is always welcome!
I am very successful at selling on Vinted – over 350 5* reviews and zero negative reviews. When I am actively listing, I usually sell out too!
This blog is all about my experiences and knowledge about selling, as I know many find it such a frustrating experience that they give up on it or don’t bother at all!
I have been selling online for several years – initially on eBay and Amazon Marketplace, then a (VERY) brief foray into Facebook Marketplace. I enjoy exploring how a selling platform works, understanding the rules and turning that knowledge into successful, profitable and speedy sales. I discovered Vinted in March 2021 and have yet to look back!

- I LOVE to read. I would read all day if I could. Gentle romances and Regency romances are my faves (Georgette Heyer 🥰)
- In a former career, I answered fan mail for Mr Bean!
- I love the smell but hate the taste of coffee.
- Chips over chocolate!
- I love decluttering. Nothing is more pleasing to me than a tidy space.
- I can tap dance.
- My Love Language is Acts of Service – I love it when someone notices I have made an effort and once redecorated my girls’ room for them while they were away.
- I would love to travel on the Orient Express.
- My favourite film is Singing in the Rain.
- My family is my 🌍
